The group has launched #EnelStyle, a communication initiative that through words (on Spotify) and images (on Instagram) wants to tell the conceptual link between energy and design, through everyday objects

Energy as a lifestyle: Enel's new social project

To design a sustainable future you need energy, innovation and creativity. And so energy and design they are two worlds that surprisingly can run hand in hand and find different meeting points. At least according to Enel, which launches #EnelStyle, the new communication project in which words and images come together to enhance the daily uses of energy, also involving the users themselves and not by chance launched on 27 April, on the occasion of World Design Day. According to Enel, therefore, objects of daily life can become part of a storytelling that tells in some way the world of energy, its various forms, and above all its evolutions. Thus, for example, an electric cable wrapped around vinyl records can become a hat, a pair of red shoes can recall the iconic Fiat 500, or pencils – to return to the drawing – can represent Made in Italy through the colors of our flag.

The initiative is multidisciplinary, so to speak: the story of this concept takes place above all on Enel's Instagram profile, where through the use of images stories, life situations, ways of consuming energy within places and elements will be recreated that punctuate our daily life. But there is also a psycho-acoustic communication through the playlists published on the new Enel channel on Spotify. “Through the new concept – explains Enel on its website -, built on a balance between words and images, we tell the story of the ongoing transformation. A transition from time to time in which lifestyle is also defined through daily behaviour, even the most intimate and personal. The energy that lights up and moves the objects we use every day, enables new uses, redefines our experience, opens spaces for innovation and sustainability".

The project is also expressed on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and above all on the Enel site which will also host the creative contributions of people. #EnelStyle, according to the slogan used by the energy group, is designed “to discover together that energy is a way of life and it is everywhere, even in the tip of a pencil that draws the future. Energy is in people's lives, in every moment. Energy is a “lifestyle”.”
