The electric motorcycles of Engine Power they will be produced in Soliera, in the heart of the Modena motoring district. According to the industrial plan, 244 motorcycles should leave the factory in 2016 and at least double that number in the following year. There will be 40 professionals at work inside the production centre.
The objective of the company, which was listed on the Aim market in 2016, is to break through on foreign markets and above all in the United States, especially in California, in San Francisco, where the first single-brand store will be inaugurated on 6 July.
Energica Motor was founded in 2014 and is the first manufacturer in the world of high performance electric motorcycles. To guide it, as managing director, is Livia Cevolini, a 37-year-old electrical engineer, who founded the company together with his brother Franco. According to Cevolini, "The Italian market is suffering from a great delay on fast charging infrastructures, but, thanks to the positive signs of development that we receive from other European markets, political attention has also been activated in Italy aimed at a rapid recovery ”.
