Matthew Del Fante has been appointed Vice President of Entso-E, the European Association of Energy Network Operators. Terna's managing director was elected by the assembly of the European body, which is engaged in the renewal of offices, under the presidency of Peder Andreasen.

The agenda of the association includes above all two points: the removal of market distortions and the development of renewables, also passing through a simplification of the regulation. Entso-E's plan envisages investments worth around 150 billion in order to integrate the national markets of the union into a single European market.
