Over 2,8 billion euros. This is, according to the annual report on surveillance activities carried out in 2013 by the Energy Authority, the revenue determined by the IRES increase introduced with the Robin Hood Tax in the two-year period 2011-2012: 2,4 billion from companies in the sector electricity and gas and about 400 million from oil companies. The ban on passing on consumer prices remains on the increase.

The report also highlights the progressive decrease in the number of supervised operators, which fell from 552 in 2009 to 386 in 2012. For 2013, the Authority carried out sample checks on companies that exceed the so-called antitrust threshold, i.e. with a turnover greater than 482 million euros.
