Enel X has created the first EV charging corridor connecting the Pan-American continent from North to South, connecting 11 countries on the West Coast: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru.
In the path have been installed 220 JuiceBox recharge points, 196 of which can be viewed through the JuicePass app, the Enel X app that allows users to manage all the top-up services available at public and private top-up points. These charging points allow “drivers to charge their electric car or motorcycle while enjoying the view of incredible landscapes: from Cusco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the breathtaking panoramas of the Andes, to the salt lake in the Atacama desert”, underlines the company in a note.
The Electric Pan-American Charging Corridor, which also appears in the documentary Long Way Up, ffacilitates electric mobility between Ensenada, Mexico's Baja California peninsula, and Ushuaia, a city in southern Argentina that has now become the southernmost point on the continent to have an electric vehicle charging facility.

This long-running infrastructure project is evidence of our commitment to promoting electric vehicles to the world, making the widespread choice of electric mobility a possibility even in far-flung places where previously no electric vehicle charging facilities were available.”
