Enel X and Groupe PSA, together for electric mobility

The two partners sign a collaboration agreement to facilitate the spread of zero-emission mobility through 100% electric models - New solutions for recharging in the home and public

Enel X and Groupe PSA, together for electric mobility

The new collaboration between Groupe PSA Italia and Enel X, the innovative business line of the Enel Group. The goal of this partnership is to increase the development of electric mobility, in full respect of the environment, allowing all those who choose a PSA electric or hybrid vehicle (therefore Peugeot, Citroen, DS and Opel) to take advantage of customized charging solutions based on their needs.

Three customized charging solutions have been studied with Enel X: the package Home in the private sphere, that Street in the public sphere and, finally, the Full Recharge including both services. For those who choose the Home package, they will have the option of installing a 3,7 kW or 7,4 kW Enel X JuiceBox in their garage to recharge their vehicle, for example at night. With the Street package, the customer will be able to purchase a bonus for using the network's top-up infrastructure; finally, the Full Recharge package allows you to integrate domestic and public solutions.

Furthermore, the agreement provides the installation of 800 charging points at the French group's dealer network, the first to be fully electrified in Europe, and the integration of Groupe PSA's Free2Move service within Enel X's e-Mobility network. Made possible by the technological enablement provided by the platform Hubject, which allows customers to easily access Enel X's public charging stations through the appropriate app.

Currently there are approximately 9 charging points installed by Enel X throughout Italy, with a number set to increase, thanks to the investment plan of the Enel Group division. The electrified range of the French brand, PSA, will benefit from these investments, which already has several hybrid models, including DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4×4, Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 4×4. Instead, for the 100% electric models we find: DS 3 Crossback, Opel Corsa-e, Peugeot e-208, the latter winner of the "Car of the Year 2020" award.

"Electric mobility is entering a phase of widespread diffusion - commented the Head of Enel X Italia, Alessio Torelli - Already today it represents the only alternative for moving on four or two wheels in full respect of the environment".
