Enel X: agreement with Grouparma on energy and consumption

Enel X and Grouparma Assicurazioni have signed an agreement on energy efficiency, optimization of consumption and the environment.

The agreement provides that Enel X, through its Advisory & Monitoring services, identifies the level of corporate efficiency of Grouparma in such a way as to be able to optimize energy performance and implement the company's activities in terms of environmental sustainability.

“Energy efficiency is increasingly strategic for companies that want to optimize consumption thus making their business sustainable – he declared Alessio Torelli, Head of Enel X Italy. “These are choices thanks to which it is possible to contain costs by reducing the impact on the environment. The agreement with Groupama Assicurazioni confirms the role of Enel X as a strategic partner capable of offering innovative solutions and advanced technologies, supporting companies in the careful and aware management of their resources”.

Pierre Cordier, managing director and general manager of Groupama Assicurazioni commented as follows: “Our company was born as a mutual company and as such is particularly sensitive in supporting initiatives that embody a strong sense of social responsibility. We therefore have in our DNA a marked sensitivity to encourage virtuous behaviour. Flanking our brand with that of Enel X, leader in the sector, testifies to the desire to keep our values up-to-date by adapting them to present challenges in order to improve the future and, at the same time, to implement attention and awareness on the issue of efficiency energy by exploiting the benefits of technology”.

Grouparma Assicurazioni uses specific Enel X detectors and compares real energy consumption with ideal models created ad hoc by the software using artificial intelligence algorithms. Using these tools, it is possible to draw a profile of the state of consumption and identify the areas of action to increase the energy efficiency of the Rome site in Viale Cesare Pavese being analysed.
