Enel's first half closed with net profit up 0,3% year-on-year – Revenues down (-8,1%) and EBITDA (-3,3%) – Targets confirmed on debt by the end of the year.

The first half of Enel is ending, which closed with a slight increase in net profit, which grew by 0,3% on an annual basis, to 1,685 billion euros, while revenues fell by 8,1, 36,1%, settling at 3,3 billion euro. The gross operating margin of the Italian electricity giant fell by XNUMX%, weighed down by the regulatory changes introduced in Latin America and Spain.

Net financial debt is also growing, to 43,073 billion from 39,706 at the end of 2013. When presenting the accounts, the company confirmed the objective it had already set, that of reducing its debt to 37 billion by the end of the year thanks to the divestments.

By mid-morning, Enel's stock dropped 0,66% on the Stock Exchange, remaining in any case one of the least negative stocks on the Italian stock market, which in the same minutes sank by more than 1%.
