Enel: budget ok, coupon at 0,16 euro

Dividend to be paid on June 22 with coupon detachment on June 20 – A check for 23,585 million to the Ministry of the Economy, which holds 383,6% of Enel's capital – The board of statutory auditors has been renewed.

Enel's shareholders yesterday gave the go-ahead with 99% of votes in favor of the 2015 financial statements, which closed with a net profit of 2,196 billion. The distribution of the dividend of €0,16 per share to be paid on June 22nd with coupon detachment on June 20th has also been approved. With the coupon, Enel issues a check for 23,585 million to the Ministry of the Economy, which holds 383,6% of the capital.

The Shareholders' Meeting also renewed the Board of Statutory Auditors, which will be composed of Sergio Duca (confirmed in the office of Chairman as expressed by the minority list presented by a group of institutional investors), Roberto Mazzei and Romina Guglielmetti as Standing Auditors (both first appointment and taken from the list presented by the reference shareholder Ministry of the Economy and Finance, who obtained the majority of votes), as well as, as Alternate Auditors, Alfonso Tono and Michela Barbiero (both also first appointed and taken from the list presented by the same shareholder Ministry of Economy and Finance), as well as Franco Tutino (confirmed in office and taken from the minority list presented by a group of institutional investors). The Board will remain in office until the approval of the 2018 financial statements.
