Enel green power's board of directors today approved the accounts for the first 9 months of 2014 which closed with a net profit of 395 million, down 2,9% compared to 407 million in the same period of 2013. The Ebitda for the period of the Enel group's renewable energy company was 1,317 billion, up 0,9% on the 1,305 billion in the first 9 months of last year. Revenues amounted to 2,084 billion (+3,7%) and net debt as at 30 September settled at 6,641 billion, an increase of 24,7% compared to the end of 2013.

Enel Green Power also communicated that the net installed capacity in the first 9 months of the year is equal to 9,5 GW with an increase of 0,9 GW (+10,5%) compared to September 30, 2013, mainly in the wind sector . The company also specified that the net installed capacity in the Europe area is in line with last year, in the Latin America area it grew by 40% and in the North America area by 24%.

The group's electricity production in the first nine months amounted to 23,5 TWh, up by 8,8% compared to the same period of 2013. The growth is mainly attributable to the effect of the increase in wind power production (+1,5 .0,3 TWh), in line with the increase in installed capacity, geothermal production (+0,2 TWh), due to the better use of plants and the greater installed capacity, and hydroelectric (+XNUMX TWh), due to effect of the increased availability of the resource.

Just before the conference call scheduled for the afternoon, the title Enel Green Power, on a difficult day for Piazza Affari, gained 1,65% to 1,91 euros.
