Enel Green Power has completed and connected to the Goodwell grid, a 200 MW wind farm located in Texas County, Oklahoma.

“Oklahoma is one of the best places in the world for wind resources,” he said Francesco Venturini, CEO and General Manager of EGP. “Goodwell is the fifth wind farm that EGP has commissioned since it entered the Oklahoma market in 2012. The project confirms EGP's ongoing investment in the renewable energy sector in the United States. We are making rapid progress on our capacity expansion goals, coupled with community-directed initiatives in infrastructure and education, to ensure truly sustainable development in all regions where we operate.”

The construction of the wind farm, owned by Goodwell Wind Project LLC, controlled by Enel Green Power North America Inc, (“EGPNA”) has required a total investment of nearly 310 million US dollars, in line with the growth objectives of EGP's current business plan. In July 2014 EGPNA signed a capital contribution agreement with a consortium led by JP Morgan to partially cover the investment.
