Enel Green Power: in the first nine months of 2011 profits up 3,1%, revenues up 17,6%

Ebitda reached 1.186 million euros, showing an increase of 22,8% compared to the first months of 2010, while Ebit rose by 29,4%. Net financial debt stood at 3.965 million euros, an increase of 28,2% compared to December 31, 2010.

Enel Green Power closed the first nine months of 2011 with a net profit of 363 million, an increase of 3,1% compared to the same period last year. Revenues amounted to 1.859 million euros and marked an increase of 17,6% compared to 2010. Ebitda reached 1.186 million euros, showing an increase of 22,8% compared to the first months of 2010, while Ebit rose by 29,4%. Net financial debt stood at 3.965 million euros, an increase of 28,2% compared to December 31, 2010.

The revenues relating to 2011 include income totaling 181 million euros, deriving "from the division of the assets - highlights a note from the company - belonging to Eufer, from the recognition of compensation for the expropriation of the rights of a plant of a company in North America and the remeasurement at fair value of the assets and liabilities of certain companies in Iberia”.

“The economic and financial results of the first nine months of 2011, together with the installed capacity at the end of September and the projects under development in the countries in which we operate – explained Francesco Starace, CEO of Enel Green Power – allow us to confirm for the whole of 2011 both the objective of installing a total of 800 MW during the year, and the financial targets already indicated to the markets last May”.
