Enel GP signed a loan agreement for 153 million euro with Banco Santander. The Italian company concluded the agreement through the Dutch subsidiary Enel Green Power International BV, the financial and equity holding company of the foreign companies of the Enel Green Power group.

The loan will have a duration of 12 years and an interest rate in line with the market benchmark. The receivable is related to investments in wind farms in Mexico owned by subsidiaries of Enel Green Power.

The development strategy of the Enel Green Power group is based on the financing of projects with the cash flows generated, in combination with external sources only when they are long-term, at competitive costs, and with reliable partners.

The company owns and operates 144 MW of wind farms in Mexico, and has two more under construction: Sureste (102 MW) and Dominica (100MW).

At the beginning of the afternoon, Enel Green Power's stock traded slightly above parity, going against the market trend (Ftse Mib -0,6%).
