Enel Green Power, 3 new plants in Chile

“Enel Green Power has completed and connected to the grid two new photovoltaic plants in Chile, Lalackama and Chanares, and put an additional 4 MW of Diego de Almagro into operation”. The company communicates it in a note.

“The parks, located in the regions of Antofagasta and Atacama, with a total installed capacity of 136 MW – continues the text – required a total investment of approximately 240 million US dollars. Lalackama, with 60 MW of installed capacity, is Enel Green Power's largest photovoltaic plant, and is capable of generating up to 160 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption needs of around 90 Chilean households, thus avoiding in the atmosphere of over 100 tons of CO2. The construction of the park required an investment of about 110 million US dollars”.

At the beginning of the afternoon, Enel Green Power's stock dropped two percentage points, at 1,74 euros.
