The Enel group has signed two twenty-year contracts with the US Cheniere Energy for the supply of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) from US shale gas fields, for a total of 3 billion cubic meters a year, of which
Approximately 1 billion destined for the Italian market.
This was communicated by Enel in a note, specifying that the contracts were signed with Corpus Christi Liquefaction, a company controlled by Chenerie.
Both contracts have a twenty-year term, with an option for another ten years. The agreement will enter into force starting from the first supplies, scheduled for 2018.
