Enel: energy at cost price and digital services for SMEs

Enel Energia launches "Open Energy Digital” the offer to support the economic recovery of SMEs and, at the same time, put them in a position to easily get in touch with innovation experts capable of significantly accelerating the future of the company in an increasingly competitive and digital oriented.

The offer, developed in collaboration with Accenture, allows small and medium-sized enterprises the possibility of buying the energy they use at the same Bulk Price which Enel Energia pays on the Power Exchange market, therefore without any surcharge. The price is transparent and can be monitored by anyone at any time. To join the initiative, all you need to do is sign up for a monthly subscription.

In addition, Accenture has created a website “ready to use” to help SMEs grow their business. The customer will thus be able to access a dedicated design service for the construction of his company's website, with the possibility of selling his products online and receiving and managing reservations through a system of online booking. Open Energy Digital also offers a catalog of online courses to help companies increase their digital skills.

Finally, Enel Open Energy enriches its offer by adding the digital plan to the existing plans, i.e. "Open Energy Mono"and "Open Energy Smart”, allowing customers to manage their energy supply completely online in the reserved area and with a dedicated service.

Businesses will have the freedom to choose the plan that best suits their needs through a fully managed platform digital, with bimonthly billing via e-mail and direct debit.

“According to a recent survey we conducted on a sample of Italian SMEs, it turned out that around 50% of these do not have a website, while around 65% are not structured for online sales – he declared Nicola Lanzetta, Head of Enel Energy -. This situation penalized small businesses during the lockdown, with the risk of having serious repercussions even in this phase of business relaunch. That's why we worked with Accenture to design an offer that, in addition to providing small businesses with a competitive energy price, puts them in a position to easily connect with innovation experts capable of significantly accelerating the future of the company".

“Accenture has accepted the challenge launched by Enel Energia to help small and medium-sized enterprises take a step forward in the energy and digital transformation path, increasing their efficiency and competitiveness,” he said. Claudio Arcudi, Head of Energy & Utility of Accenture Italy -. The ongoing energy transition and the pandemic have led to a necessary acceleration of digital services, which will be increasingly in demand in a very competitive landscape."
