THEArms of the Carabinieri ed Enel together for the prevention and fight against illegality, the environmental protection and of the territory. A commitment signed by Teo Luzi, General Commander of the Carabinieri, and Carlo Tamburi, president of Enel Italia. Particular attention will be paid to the protection of the security and operational continuity of the electricity networks and infrastructures, to the protection of the personnel in charge of their management and to the corporate assets.
On the one hand, the Arma will involve the Departments of the Special and Forestry Organizations, with particular reference to the Carabinieri Commands for Environmental Protection and Ecological Transition, as well as for the Protection of Biodiversity and Parks. On the other hand, Enel, through its local branches, will guarantee an exchange of information on situations of interest to the Carabinieri, signaling any critical environmental issues, with particular attention to the prevention of forest fires.
Furthermore, the agreement also provides for energy efficiency projects of the structures owned by the Arma on the national territory and for the development of sustainable mobility.
