Enel has distributed the amount subject to the repurchase as follows: 591 million with expiry in June 2017, 159 million with expiry in June 2018 – The settlement date of the offer will be January 25, 2016.

Enel buys own bonds for 750 million

Buyback of 750 million euros for Enel. In fact, the energy company announced that, following the non-binding voluntary offer promoted on 14 January 2016 and concluded on 20 January 2016, concerning the cash buyback up to a total nominal amount of 500 million euros of two series of bonds issued by Enel itself, will purchase these bonds for a total nominal amount of 750 million euros, thus exercising the right, recognized by the offer documentation, to increase the nominal amount originally envisaged.

In particular, Enel has divided the amount to be repurchased as follows: 591.088.000 euros in nominal value of bonds maturing on June 20 2017, following the application of the allotment factor of 92,5715% and 158.919.000 euros in nominal value of bonds maturing June 12 2018, following the application of the 100% allotment factor.

The offer was made in the context of optimizing Enel's liability structure through active management of maturities and the cost of debt. The settlement date of the offer will be January 25, 2016.
