More than 200 institutions, associations and companies have already joined the 'November month of energy efficiency' initiative promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and implemented by ENEA. Among the participants, NTV which will disseminate messages on energy saving on Italo trains and in the on-board magazine, ENEL with local demonstrations and messages on efficiency in bills, the Ministries of Defence, of Cultural Heritage and the Gemelli Polyclinic with training and information to personnel on the rational use of energy and behavior change, while Schneider Electric, Energy Team and 3M Italia will propose internal and external campaigns.

At the bank level, the Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna provides a vademecum and an awareness newsletter for its 12 employees, the Verona Chamber of Commerce will organize an event on energy efficiency and sustainability in the building sector, while the Energy Agency of the Province Livorno provides school workshops on the topics of efficiency and savings in a "wasteful" house and a "saving" house.

Initiatives aimed at students also from the Turin Polytechnic and the Universities of Camerino and Bari. Events to raise awareness among citizens will be organized by the Kyoto Club, Federesco, Assoesco, FIRE and Rete Irene.

Subjects interested in the initiative can still submit proposals, after registering, at the link www.italiainclassea.enea.it/ca mpagna3.aspx on the website of the National Campaign "Italia in Classe A" which aims to spread a culture for use energy rationally, eliminate waste and losses, reduce consumption without sacrificing comfort.

After an evaluation by ENEA, the proposer will be allowed to use the logo to be included in promotional materials in both paper and electronic format. Together with the logo, a starter kit will be made available to interested parties with information material, posters and slides, which can be used in organizing the events.

All the initiatives approved by ENEA will be given wide visibility on the Campaign website through an interactive map on which the events will be located and a search system that will allow initiatives to be identified in the area based on the type of event and the organizer.

“Italia in Classe A' is the first National Information and Training Campaign on energy efficiency. The three-year initiative effectively implements Article 13 of Legislative Decree 102/2014 and is aimed at the public administration, SMEs, banking institutions, families and students.

The main objective of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of saving and energy efficiency and to provide the tools and opportunities to achieve them. During the first year of the Campaign, the awareness of the general public and the PA is expected. For the second and third year, a more differentiated communication will be implemented, aimed at different types of recipients.
