Enav: traffic recovering and revenues increasing in 2021. The dividend is back

2021 was the year of economic recovery, but also the one in which we started living and traveling again. They confirm it the accounts of Enav, the company that provides exclusive services to civil air navigation in the Italian airspace. In fact, the company's board of directors approved the 2021 financial statements which show encouraging data, thanks to the recovery in air traffic and the increase in revenues from the unregulated market.

The accounts of Enav

Going into details, traffic en route increased by 44,9%, while terminal traffic grew by 36,2% in terms of service units compared to 2020.

Turning to the economic parameters, consolidated revenues they recorded an increase of 8,5% on the previous year, settling at 836,6 million euro. The non-regulated market increased by 22,3% to 33 million euro, while consolidated EBITDA increased by 5,5% to 222,4 million. And again: the ebit margin was 26,6%, the consolidated net profit it stood at 78 million, an increase of 44,6% compared to 2020.

Based on the results achieved, the board of directors proposed the distribution of a dividend relating to 2021 equal to 0,1081 euro per share.

For the CEO Paolo Simioni there is satisfaction for the "economic-financial results achieved which go beyond expectations, but even more so because we are recovering traffic volumes constantly and decisively, guaranteeing an excellent quality of service, thanks also to our people who are supporting the recovery of the sector. This allowed us to once again propose the remuneration of our shareholders to the shareholders' meeting. Hand in hand, we continue in the digitization and innovation process of the group's systems, as well as in the implementation of the strategies that we have outlined".
