Enav: "The plan does not endanger jobs"

ENAV reiterates its "interest in finding a solution with the social partners in the implementation of an industrial plan" which allows air traffic management with an innovative organizational and technological model, in a context of strong growth in air traffic and sudden changes in demand from carriers. To reiterate it is a note released by the company that manages civil air traffic in Italy, according to which “the plan has never questioned the maintenance of jobs”. In fact, the company intends to proceed towards a strong investment policy in infrastructures and innovative technologies, capable of managing the air traffic control service with leaner and more flexible procedures, "which will allow more effective and competitive operational planning, determining the professional growth of one's resources".

The making of the business plan 2018-2022, in line with the regulatory context defined as the Single European Sky, according to ENAV will have a highly positive effect in terms of performance, competitiveness and valorisation of human capital, and "will make it possible to maintain a leadership position compared to other European service providers, guiding the technological evolution of Air Traffic Management”, continues the press release. In the context of the industrial plan, ENAV plans to invest, in the 5 years from 2018 to 2022, a total of 650 million euros, self-financed, aimed at the development and implementation of new technological platforms, the education and training of its personnel, always maintaining the highest levels of safety.
