Enav obtains UNI ISO 37001 anti-corruption certification

Enav got the anti-corruption certification according to the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard. This is the international standard developed with the aim of supporting companies in adopting a management system aimed at tackling and preventing possible cases of corruption and promoting an ethical corporate culture. The anti-corruption and transparency process was undertaken some time ago by the company that manages civil air traffic in Italy. Already following an assessment of the safeguards and activities adopted by Enav, Transparency International Italia accepted, last April, the request to join the Business Integrated Forum presented by the group at the instigation of the Board of Directors.

Also this time the certification was strongly desired by the Board, chaired by Avv. Francesca Isgrò, requested a demanding process of implementation of the management system for the prevention and fight against corruption, at the end of which the international certification body DNV-GL recognized "the maturity and solidity of a corporate compliance inspired by the principles of integrity, sustainability and transparency”, as stated in a company note

Francesca Isgro, president of Enav underlined that the company continues to invest "in a solid, innovative and structured corporate compliance system to create value not only for Enav but for all our national and international stakeholders". And that this certification "represents further confirmation of the values that drive our work."

While Paolo Simioni, CEO recalled how the group is also engaged "in the development of new technologies, in the provision of consultancy services in over 100 countries around the world and is heavily involved in the creation of U-Space, the airspace dedicated to drones". And that this recognition confirms the commitment of all ENAV people "to ensure legality and transparency in all the contexts in which they operate."
