Enav concludes new contracts for 1 million euro

Enav spa is awarded contracts for 1 million euro. The company that manages and controls civil air traffic in Italy was awarded three contracts in April, respectively in Mozambique, Romania and Italy.

Its subsidiary acts as intermediary, IDS AirNav, the group company specializing in aeronautical information management systems. In particular, it supplies the world of air traffic and airports with services, systems and software.

Specifically, IDS AirNav was selected by Airports of Mozambique (the company that manages the Maputo airport in Mozambique), for the installation of an advanced system for managing messages and aeronautical information at the airport.

It is an Aeronautical Message Handling System (AMHS) and a Dynamic Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), called CRONOS. The project will be completed during 2020, for a value of 461 thousand euros.

The second contract, however, was signed with the Civil Aviation Authority of Romania (Romanian Civil Avation Authority) and concerns the adoption of a platform for the design of flight procedures, personnel training and maintenance, for a total value of 310 thousand euros.

Finally, IDS AirNav was selected by Alidaunia Srl, one of the major Italian helicopter operators, for the design, validation and operational approval of a network of so-called "Point in Space" and "Low Level Routes" procedures. Thanks to which the Alidaunia base in Foggia will be connected with 5 other helipads/heliports in Puglia. The expected duration of the project is two years, with a total value of 245 thousand euros.
