Enav: boom in profits in 9 months of 2017

Enav closed the first nine months of 2017 with a consolidated net profit of 89,6 million euros, up 27,3% compared to 30 September 2016, and consolidated revenues of 673 million euros (+1,6% compared to 30 September 2016) – EBIT and EBITDA also rose sharply.

Enav closed the first nine months of 2017 with a consolidated net profit of 89,6 million euros, up 27,3% compared to 30 September 2016, and consolidated revenues of 673 million euros (+1,6% compared to 30 September 2016)

Consolidated ebitda amounted to 230,5 million euros, up 10,8% compared to the same period of 2016, while ebit instead reached 129 million euros, up 20,1% compared to the 30 September 2016, due to lower depreciation of 3,6 million euros compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. During the same period, en route and terminal traffic rose respectively by 3,3% and 2,5% in terms of service units compared to the corresponding period last year.

The Company confirms its guidance for 2017 which sees consolidated net revenues grow at low-single digits, an EBITDA margin of around 30% and annual investments of 115-120 million euros. The Company confirms that it can indicate a dividend for 2018, relating to the 2017 financial year, up by 4% compared to that paid in 2017, in line with the approved dividend policy and communicated to the market.

According to the managing director Roberta Neri “The third quarter confirms the growth trend of air traffic in our country. The increase went beyond expectations also thanks to the technological and operational effort that ENAV put in place with innovative projects. We continue to work to attract traffic by offering airlines a high quality service. The Company's margins are clearly growing, demonstrating that the process optimization path and the focus on efficiency, outlined in the industrial plan, are giving the expected results”.

In Piazza Affari, the Enav share gained 0,2% in sharp contrast with the performance of the Stock Exchange. In today's session, the Ftse Mib dropped 1,04% to 22.327 points.
