FCA emissions: there is the Italy-Germany agreement

Italy e Germany have found an agreement, “a common vision” on the need that fca take measures to reduce the level of NOx emissions. A spokeswoman for the European Union said this today in reference to the controversy between Rome and Berlin over thehomologation of some Lingotto models (500X, Renegade and Doblò), which allegedly produced emissions outside the limits.

Meanwhile, the German authorities are carrying out a search in Ingolstadt, the headquarters of theAudi, near Munich. The search for the documents is linked to the investigation into diesel vehicle emissions.

During the investigation, Audi admitted that it had changed the emission regulation system during the homologation tests for the 3.000 cc diesel engines.
