“Emilia-Romagna also represents something important for the rest of the country, the future of this region, its identity and its values are at stake. Even before the program there is a different idea of society from that of our opponents, a different idea of the identity of Emilia-Romagna. We have a project for the future of this region”. Thus Stefano Bonaccini, at the Imola racetrack, presented, together with the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, his electoral program and the lists that support him in view of the elections on January 26 for the renewal of the regional assembly and the council.

"If we win here in Emilia-Romagna, a recovery for Italy will start from here," said the current president and Democratic Party candidate.

“Our first act – he continued – will be to sign a new pact for work, to move from full to good employment and from growth to sustainable development. Five years ago unemployment was 9%, today it is 5%. It's still not enough, but having recovered 100 jobs, I think it makes us say that things are better than five years ago".

"The sardines have changed Salvini's electoral campaign, because now he no longer goes to the squares. Now it should also say something about Emilia-Romagna”, Bonaccini then observed.

"We need a season of more profound reforms“. It is instead the appeal to the government launched by Sala. “From the Finance Law – he said – one could not expect more, if you cannot touch the citizen's income, the 80 euros, 100 share, which I consider the biggest mistake. It's not yet the time for change, today we can't do more and we have to keep the controls. But we need a season of more profound reforms: for example, Bonaccini did well to remain on the path of autonomy, but the regionalism of twenty has failed, let's take note of it ".
