Milan loses EMA, the European drug agency, in the draw. The prank comes just before 18.15 pm, when even the third vote failed to resolve the challenge for the prestigious agency. The Italian city and Amsterdam, in fact, had obtained the same number of votes and therefore we relied on chance. And in the end, the capital of the Netherlands came out on top.
Milan had come in the lead in the final vote. In fact, it had passed the second round with 12 votes, ahead of 9 in Amsterdam and 5 in Copenhagen, which was eliminated. In the first round of voting, Milan was in the lead with 25 votes against 20 for the two northern European cities.

Like Milan, Frankfurt was also mocked. The German city failed to win the EBA, the European Banking Authority, which goes to Paris. The choice was officially announced by the Estonian presidency of the EU.
