Lazio 2023 regional elections: how do you vote?

Source: Lazio Region

For regional elections, there are four voting options available to choose from:

  1. vote for the candidate: the vote does not extend to the list or linked lists;
  1. vote on the list: the vote goes both to the list and to the candidate it supports;
  1. An X on the list and one on the candidate: the vote goes to both;
  1. disjoint vote: you can vote for a list and for a candidate not connected to the list itself.

The voter can express one or two preferences, writing next to the selected list, in the appropriate lines, the name of the candidates for regional councilors included in the list itself.

If two preferences are expressed, one must concern a male candidate and the other a female candidate from the same list. By indicating two men or two women, the second preference is cancelled.
