EUROPEAN ELECTIONS - Pd triumph (41%), Grillo at the stake (21%), Forza Italia collapses (16,8%)

Il Pd triumphs in the European elections with almost Present in several = 41% of votes, doubling the Movement 5 Stars (to the Present in several = 21% approximately) and exceeding the sum of grillini and Force Italy (slightly less than Present in several = 17%). Prime Minister Matteo Renzi's party breaks Veltroni's record from 2008, becomes the first party in the European social democratic area and establishes itself as the only Italian political force to surpass the absolute figure of 2013 (+15%), throwing everyone a clear message: in case of political elections with the Italicum as electoral law, the Democratic Party would be able to win alone in the first round.

“An historic result – tweeted the Prime Minister after the announcement of the results – I am moved and determined: now I'm working for an Italy that will change Europe. Thank you".

As regards the comparison with last year's policies, M5S loses almost 5 percentage points, while Fi collapses by almost 6%. The turnout stopped at 57,22% of those entitled. The grillini postpone any official comment to the afternoon, but on the blog of the Genoese comedian, demonstrations of anger and disappointment proliferate.

And there are already those who remember when Grillo told Repubblica “this time people need to understand that we have to fuck everyone like this. Because I have no doubts about one thing: either we win, or this time I really go home. And I'm not kidding." From Fi, on the other hand, Toti limits himself to pointing out that these consultations "were affected by the absence of Silvio Berlusconi", who was not a candidate, but was still able to campaign.

On the front of the other parties, the best result is that of Lega North (6,2%), followed by Ncd-Udc (4,4%) and Tsipras list (4%), the only minor parties to exceed the threshold of 4%. He did not make it Brothers of Italy, which stopped at 3,5%.
