Alberto Bombassei, owner of Brembo, former candidate to lead Confindustria and always close to Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, is the flagship of the Monti list for the next general elections. But he's not the only one to represent the company on the lists.
Also on the same Monti list is the entrepreneur and former Berlusconi MP Santo Versace and the president of Confcooperative, Luigi Marino. With Monti, who was his schoolmate, the former president of Federmeccanica and mayor of Milan, Gabriele Albertini, could also be a candidate, but he would prefer to run for the Lombardy region. More news is expected in the next few hours.
Representatives of the business world also on the Pd list: the party secretary, Pierluigi Bersani, personally wanted the former director general of Confindustria and ANIA, the economist who grew up in the Bank of Italy Giampaolo Galli, who previously seemed close to Mountains. In addition, the Pd nominates the outgoing director of Confcommercio Luigi Taranto.
It remains to be understood what the composition of the Forza Italia list will be, where the first entrepreneur will naturally be the former premier Silvio Belusconi. There will also be small entrepreneurs in the League, especially in Lombardy and Veneto.
