Bruno Tabacci is a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies with the +Europe list in the constituencies of Milan 1 and Cremona-Mantova.
The first initiative I will propose will be a bill incorporating the conclusions of the parliamentary commission of inquiry into banks. There are goals to be achieved to prevent episodes of mismanagement that originate in the numerous conflicts of interest and, furthermore, to reduce inappropriate risks to protect customers, strengthening the profiling criteria and increasing savers' awareness.
Intensify the strategic collaboration between the Bank of Italy and Consob in order to reduce the risks of crises, but if these arise, make effective mechanisms available to intervene in cases of crisis between one or more intermediaries, for example by reactivating the stability committee finance at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
These could be some of the points which, alongside the introduction of new types of crime and the establishment of specialized prosecutors' offices in order to repress criminal conduct, can form part of a well-structured package which collects the Commission's conclusions and translates them into a legislative act that ensures that what has happened in recent years does not repeat itself.
