Il Mandelli Group, owner of the Milanese brand of urban-contemporary clothing and accessories for motorcycles and scooters for a year Tucano Urbano, bought 100% of Eleveit, one of the major operators in the footwear sector for motorcycle. The Mandelli group, through its subsidiary Mandelli Srl, took over the entire shareholding from the controlling shareholder of Eleveit, Zanatta Srl, the company of the homonymous family (founder of the TCX brand), established in 1982 by Ivo Zanatta and his father Giuliano , reference figures in the motorcycle shoe market.

Founded in 1945 and with current headquarters in Carate Brianza, the Mandelli group operates in the European market as a manufacturer of bicycles and accessories, as well as clothing and biker accessories, employing a total of about 300 employees. The Brianza-based company, which is also the exclusive distributor of brands linked to the inverse of two-wheelers such as Regina Chain, Brenta, Progrip, Goodyear Bicycle Tires or Agu, expects to close 2022 with a consolidated turnover - before the acquisition of Eleveit – more than 80 million euros.

The Mandelli group is now aiming for international expansion

The product offering of Eleveit instead it includes road boots and shoes for various motorcycle uses, motocross boots and racing boots, but also technical clothing and gloves for motorcyclists. Eleveit serves over 200 customers worldwide, with a consolidated presence on the main European and non-EU markets.

Mandelli's entry into the capital of Eleveit will allow the Treviso-based company to exploit various group synergies by providing the necessary resources to realize its international expansion, in addition to the further consolidation of the reference markets, explain the two companies in a press release. The CEO and founding partner of Eleveit, Ivo Zanatta was confirmed at the helm of the company, to ensure business continuity and to continue the growth path of the customer portfolio and the development of the product range.

In August 2021, the Mandelli group, again through the subsidiary Mandelli Srl, had bought the brand Tucano Urbano, taking over the shares held by the majority shareholder Consilium Sgr – which had owned 2012% of the brand based in Peschiera Borromeo (MI) since 76 – and by other minority shareholders. Tucano Urbano is distributed to around 1.000 customers, with a consolidated presence in Italy and on the main European markets, led by France, Spain and Great Britain.
