The Swedish multinational recorded a net profit of 101,7 million euros, linked to the cost reduction strategy launched in 2013 – The result is better than analysts' estimates.

In the third quarter of the year the group of household appliances Electrolux has achieved a rise of the net profit of 42% to 933 million crowns (101,7 million euros). The clear increase, according to the Swedish multinational, is linked to the cost reduction strategy launched by the group in 2013.

Sales also increased by 5,6% to 28,8 billion crowns (3,14 billion euros). This was better than analysts' estimates of third-quarter revenue of SEK 28,4 billion.
