Electric mobility has a new player in the field, the EVA+ project, Electric Vehicles Arteries. I am 130 active Fast recharge charging stations from 50kW and compatible with all electric vehicles on the market that Enel has installed along the long-distance roads of Italy and Austria and correspond to 260 recharging points. The charging infrastructures in the peninsula are entirely developed by Enel and guarantee a full of energy in about 30 minutes, compatible with all electric vehicles currently on the market and in full compliance with international standards in the field of electric mobility. About a year after the start of the project, there are 110 operational columns in Italy with 220 charging points, while in Austria there are 20 with 40 charging points.
EVA+ is the European project for the development of electric mobility which provides for the installation in three years of 200 fast charging stations, 180 in Italy and the other 20 in Austria, along extra-urban sections. The programme, co-financed by the European Commission as part of the "Connecting Europe Facility", sees the collaboration of Enel, as coordinator, and Verbund (the main Austrian utility) together with some of the main manufacturers of electric vehicles at a global level. such as Renault, Nissan, BMW Group and Volkswagen Group Italia (with the Volkswagen and Audi brands).
Charging infrastructure they are mainly located in areas adjacent to the motorway accesses to allow its use also to those who use electric vehicles for out-of-town trips with stops compatible with the charging time, in places such as shopping centres.
An app – Enel X Recharge – is available to customers to locate the EVA+ columns in Italy and recharge their car in just a few steps.
