ACEA enters the business of charging services for electric mobility. After the launch of the project for the installation of charging stations for electric cars promoted last December in the capital, the Roman multi-utility is preparing to launch the "ACEA e-mobility" app which allows you to top up your vehicle at over 10 authorized points in Italy, thanks to the interoperability agreements signed with other operators in the sector.
THE“ACEA e-mobility” app was developed to provide customers with a truly smart charging experience: not only will it be possible to locate the available active columns, book them, recharge their electric vehicle or plug-in, but also monitor the progress of the recharge and manage payments in digital way.
In addition, it will be availableAcea e-mobility card, a personal card associated with the customer's personal account to take advantage of other additional services. Acea Energia offers three different wallbox models, in terms of power and technology, which will allow customers to recharge vehicles at home.
The entry into the top-up services business is consistent with the Group's development strategies in sustainable mobility in which it already operates Acea Innovation with the role of CPO (company that manages and develops charging infrastructure). This app demonstrates the Group's commitment to reducing emissions, with a view to sustainability and environmental protection, not only in the capital, but throughout the country.
“The entry into the business of charging services dedicated to electric mobility – he declared Giuseppe Gola, CEO of the ACEA Group – is an important step that the Company is taking to become one of the main players for e-mobility not only in Rome, but throughout the country. Indeed, one of the objectives of our Business Plan is the development of a Services-based Company designed to strengthen the relationship with the customer and at the same time enhance the brands of the Acea Group".
"The focus on electric mobility - continued Gola - also with the activation of services with high added value for citizens, is in line with our strategy which aims to support the energy transition by promoting the development of sustainable mobility, in particular at inside large urban centres, where the environmental impact is stronger, in line with the objectives of the Green Deal and with the values of the Group”.
