Day without momentum for the European lists which failed the bank of Wall Street closed for the President day. In Piazza Affari, the FtseMib index fell by 0,51% to 16406. The London stock exchanges were also negative -0,14% and Madrid -0,7%, Paris +0,22%, Frankfurt up 0,47% .
On the government bond market, the BTP is traded at a yield of 4,39% with a spread of 277, 5 basis points more than on Friday. The euro is substantially unchanged against the main currencies: it is indicated at 1,334 against the dollar, from 1,336 on Friday evening, to 1,2321 against the Swiss franc, from 1,2316.
Expectations are rising for the Telecom Italia board of directors +1,46% scheduled for 18 pm. The decline of the banks is recorded on the Milan stock exchange: Unicredit is down by 1,72% after Bank of America lowered the recommendation to "neutral" from "buy". Monte Paschi -1,61% and Intesa -0,73% are also down. Mediobanca +0,7%, Banco Popolare +1,29% and Pop remain positive. Milan +3,26%.
