Publishing, agreement between USPI and Italpress

Agreement made between USPI (Unione Stampa Periodica Italiana) and Italpress, the national daily news agency. The convention covers the content delivery, from Italpress, of news and video news delivered via computer feed.

Specifically, it is about XML formats generated starting from the sections present on the Italpress site and with conditional access. The package also includes thematic news (Engines, Health) and actual news Newscasts (TG Motori and TG Salute).

The feed ends with video interviews and other services on miscellaneous topics.

The agreement has no costs for USPI members and allows industry professionals to be able to count on a wider range of news, updates and dossiers.

Italpress is a press agency that has been operating in the Italian publishing scene for 30 years now. Born as a sports agency, today it covers all major information sectors generalist and sector.

The USPI, founded in 1953, associates the Italian periodical titles, published or transmitted by any means, and aims to represent the Italian periodical press in the protection of the professional, moral and material interests of the entire category. It is not a profit-making association, but carries out mainly assistance activities to its subscribers (about 3.000 periodicals) and their representation in all public or private offices.
