Not very positive first quarter of 2015 for Edison, which recorded a loss of 153 million euros compared to a profit of more than 100 million in the same period of 2014 – Revenues also decreased: from 3,4 billion to 3,1 – 2015 targets confirmed

Edison: first quarter at a loss

The decline in average selling prices affects the revenues of Edison's first quarter. The energy group, in fact, has recorded a decrease in revenues in the first quarter of 2015 with 3,1 billion compared to 3,4 in the same period last year.

The Ebitda dropped sharply from 216 million euros in the first quarter of 2014 to 51 million in the first three months of this year. The operating result (Ebit) was negative by 119 million euros (+218 million in the first quarter of 2014). Edison ended the first quarter with a loss of 153 million euro compared to the profit of 101 million in 2014.

Net financial debt at March 31, 2015 improved to 1,6 billion euros from 1,7 at the end of 2014. Edison confirms the forecasts of a Gross Operating Margin for 2015 of at least 1 billion euros.
