Edison, through its subsidiary Fenice Spa, announced the closing with Energon Esco Spa for the acquisition of 100% of Energon Facility Solutions Spa (formerly PVB Solutions), a Trentino company that operates in the design, execution, maintenance and management of plant and energy of civil, hospital and industrial buildings.

The transaction offers Edison the opportunity to enter the most important market segment for energy efficiency, that of services for the Public Administration, which has a value of over 2 billion euros a year and represents approximately 50% of the whole sector. Edison will contribute an ability to compete on the market, thanks to its financial solidity, the development of synergies in the procurement of electricity and gas and cross-selling actions on its customer base.
Energon Facility Solutions serves over 1.800 buildings including public facilities, hospitals, social housing, schools and condominiums in Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Lombardy. In 2016 he registered a
turnover of around 36 million Euros and a contract portfolio of over 100 million Euros, thanks to the daily contribution of 130 people, managers and key resources for the future development of the business.
