Edf, change at the top: Levy replaces Proglio

Yesterday, the French National Assembly's economic affairs commission had already given the go-ahead for the appointment of Levy as number one in the energy group, replacing the 65-year-old Henri Proglio.

Changing of the guard at the top of the French energy company Edf: Jean-Bernard Levy, former president and CEO of the Thales group, was officially appointed CEO today (President and director general) of Electricité de France. The appointment came directly from the French council of ministers. Yesterday, the Assembly's economic affairs commission had already given the green light to the appointment of Levy as number one in the energy group, replacing 65-year-old Henri Proglio, who had managed the position for the last five years.
