The construction industry is appealing to the Government to renew the sismabonus and the ecobonus. In support of the initiative, an information campaign (#EcoSismabonus) was carried out promoted by Ance, Anci, the National Councils of Architects, Engineers and Surveyors, the Engineering and Consulting Organizations, Italian Seismic Engineering, Federcostruttori and Legambiente .
“Unsafe, obsolete, polluted and polluting buildings – reads a note – Cities suffocated by fine dust. Houses damaged by earthquakes and unhealthy. It is the current photograph of the residential building stock in Italy, 70% built before the introduction of anti-seismic and energy efficiency regulations. A heritage that no longer meets the health and safety needs of citizens and which therefore needs a profound renewal not only to improve the quality of life but also to prevent damage and risks for people. In the last 50 years, in fact, the victims of earthquakes have been more than 4 thousand and the State has spent an average of 3 billion a year to rebuild and repair. So it's time to aim for a serious program of prevention and risk reduction which has two valid tools in the Ecobonus and Sismabonus. Today, for example, about 40 billion euros are spent a year on ordinary maintenance, about half of what a scheduled maintenance plan would cost – which would add value to the building and allow for significant economic savings over time – to manage the safety line on all buildings.
The supply chain therefore appeals to the Government so that with the next budget law you will confirm and strengthen these measures “essential to activate a major plan for the safety and redevelopment of buildings that citizens have been waiting for for some time. Purpose of the #EcoSismabonus campaign, promoted by the construction chain together with Anaci and Legambiente, is, in fact, make citizens aware of the opportunities associated with the use of bonus tax to carry out effective renovations at low cost and quickly e redevelopment of your home and entire condominiums“.
