The English low-cost airline closed the first six months of the fiscal year with a pre-tax loss of 53 million pounds (equal to 65 million euros), an improvement of 13% compared to the previous year.

The result was supported by the growth in revenues (+6%) and the reduction in costs. The reaction on the Stock Exchange was negative: this morning the EasyJet share lost more than 5 percentage points on the London market.
