E2i, Mauro Miglio new ad

Mauro Miglio has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of E2i, a leading company in the Italian wind energy sector.

E2i Energie Speciali announces that, effective March 10, 2017, Mauro Miglio has assumed the positions of Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the company, one of the leaders in the wind energy sector in Italy, set up by Edison and F2i in 2014.

Mauro Miglio takes over from Giuseppe Noviello, Chief Executive Officer of E2i from November 2014 to March 2017. All the members of the Board of Directors of the Company express their sincere thanks to Ing. Noviello for the profuse activity in carrying out his duties, supported by his high authority and professionalism.

Mauro Miglio, the new Chief Executive Officer, was born in Milan on 19 October 1961, holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. Miglio has been Chief Executive Officer of Alerion since 2015, one of the main Italian wind operators.

Previously, he held managerial roles within large groups operating in the energy sector, in particular Edison and A2A as well as in other large industrial groups, such as Montedison and Fiat. Furthermore, Miglio was a director of various companies, including Edison, Edipower, Epcg and Metroweb.

E2i Energie Speciali is one of the most dynamic companies in the Italian renewable energy landscape, with around 600 MW of installed wind power capacity. Its shareholding is 70% held by F2i, and 30% by Eper, a holding company owned by Edison (83%) and EdfF Energies Nouvelles (17%).
