E-commerce, Bricoprivè acquires Racetools

Bricoprivè, the European leader in e-commerce in the DIY sector, has acquired the French company Racetools, a specialist in the distribution of portable power tools for professionals.

Through the operation, Bricoprivè accelerates its external growth strategy, approaching the target of 100 million euros in annual turnover one year ahead of schedule. The French company based in Toulouse, thanks to a careful market positioning and the know-how of its founders, has experienced strong growth in recent years. 

The acquisition of Racetools will open the doors to the professional market in Bricoprivè. Another fundamental point that allowed the operation to go through is the possibility, for the French e-commerce site, of having the fixed sales points of Racetools available for the first time, and thus being able to take advantage of new distribution channels .
