At the annual gathering of bankers from all over the world, Europe will be missed. ECB President Mario Draghi is too busy to attend. This was stated by a spokesman for the European Central Bank, specifying that no other governor of the Eurotower will be present at the Jackson Hole meeting held this weekend in Wyomming, in the United States. However, the presence of the highest office in the Bundesbank, Jens Weidmann, has been confirmed.

Draghi, explained the spokesman, "had hoped to be able to be present but due to the high volume of work expected for the next few days, he will not be able to go".
