Downhill road for the Draghi government after the opening of the premier in charge of the Ministry of Ecological Transition asked by Beppe Grillo to pass the referendum of members of the 5 Star Movement

Draghi creates the Ministry of Ecological Transition and conquers M5S

The prime minister in charge Mario Draghi, adopts a proposal launched by Beppe Grillo on the creation of a Ministry of Ecological Transition on the French model and de facto conquest the green light of the Five Stars, which will have to be ratified by tomorrow's referendum of subscribers on the Rousseau platform.

Precisely to recover the full consent of the Movement, Beppe Grillo had asked Draghi to send a signal of great news, identified in the creation of the new Ministry of Transition, and the premier made the proposal his own, announcing it to the ecological movements during today's consultations. It is the signal that Grillo was waiting for and that all the Five Stars were waiting for, which at this point have a good argument to win the referendum and direct it towards the definitive green light for the nascent Draghi government. The Prime Minister in charge will go up to the Quirinale over the weekend to dissolve the reserve and present the list of ministers.

The new structure will be a key ministry which will merge the powers currently distributed between the Ministry ofEnvironment, that of Infrastructure and much of the Changing the, the Ministry of Economic Development, and which will have about half of the Recovery Plan funds and will therefore be a super-ministry that could be entrusted to an independent technician.

The new ministry is the passepartout to pave the way for the nascent government, which will be partly political and partly technical and which, barring twists and turns, should be born over the weekend and then present itself in the Chambers at the beginning of next week.

The majority will be formed by Pd, Cinque Stelle, Lega, Forza Italia, Italia Viva, Leu and by the centrist forces (+Europe, Calenda's Action and Tabacci's Democratic Center), leaving only the extreme right of Giorgia Meloni's Fratelli d'Italia in opposition. After the consent of most of the political forces, today's consultations also brought Draghi that of the social forces and in particular of the Confindustria and sindacati. Now all that remains is form the team and drafting the "high-profile" government program which will focus on Recovery and acceleration of the vaccination plan and which aims to attack the three crises afflicting Italy: the pandemic, the economic and the social one.
