First yes among the protests (from the M5S) and doubts (from the NCD, which is asking for changes in the next passage to the Senate) for the Labor decree law, in which the Renzi government had placed its trust yesterday. The Chamber of Deputies therefore approved it with 263 votes in favour, 161 against and one abstention, and the text is now being examined by the Senate: definitive approval, which will convert the decree into law, is expected by 19 May.
During the final explanations of vote on the measure, the M5S deputies raised their chained arms in protest and showed the words "modern slaves". The president Laura Boldrini ordered the removal by the clerks. Walter Rizzetto of M5S had just quoted a phrase from Roosevelt according to which only those who have economic security and independence are free when all his colleagues raised their hands, composing the words "Modern Slaves" with various placards.
