There is also room for internationalization in the 2.0 growth presented yesterday by the government.Particularly two articles concerning this matter: the art. 30 on support for the internationalization of innovative startups and art. 35 on the establishment of the Italy Desk for the attraction of foreign investments in Italy. Let's look at them more closely.

Support for the internationalization of innovative startups

Innovative start-up companies operating in Italy are also included among those benefiting from the services made available by the ICE Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies and by Desk Italia.

The provision punctually identifies these services: assistance in regulatory, corporate, tax, real estate, contract and credit matters, free hospitality at the main international fairs and events, and the activity aimed at promoting the meeting of innovative startups with potential investors for early stage capital and expansion capital phases.

One Stop Shop for Attracting Foreign Investments (Desk Italia)

A single stable, timely and effective coordination point is set up for entrepreneurs to whom entrepreneurs intending to make productive and industrial investments in Italy can refer. The helpdesk will report to the Ministry of Economic Development and will coordinate all the other entities operating in the sector, also making use of the support of personnel from ICE and the INVITALIA agency, without thus generating further burdens for public finance. The promotion of made in Italy on international markets will be strengthened thanks to the fact that Simest will be able to participate in the capital of specific commercial companies also based in Italy.
