Here we go: coupon season gets underway with i dividends on April 24th disbursed by Banca Mediolanum, Banco Bpm, Campari, Cnh Industrial, Ferrari, Prysmian, Stellantis and Unicredit. These companies are joined by others listed on the various indices of Piazza Affari. In total they will be 19 companies which will launch a season which will end on July 24 with coupons from Enel and Pirelli and which, solely for Ftse Mib will be worth 31 billion eurosa increase of 8 billion euros compared to the 23 billion disbursed in 2022 by the blue chips of Piazza Affari.
But at what is the April 24 dividend amount? Who will guarantee the highest returns? When will the payments take place? Here you are everything you need to know.
Dividends 24 April: the ranking of the yields of the 8 Ftse Mib companies
Let's start with the most "generous" in terms of dividend yield: Stellantis. On April 13, the Italian-French company gave the go-ahead for the distribution of a 2023 dividend of 1,34 euros per share for a total amount of 4,2 billion euros. The coupon will be detached on Monday 24 April 2023 and paid from 4 May. How much is the return? Based on April 21 prices at8,51%, the highest of all Ftse Mib.
Second step of the podium for Banca Mediolanum which will guarantee an overall return (always calculated on the April 21 price) of 5,86% on a coupon of 50 cents divided into two tranches. Monday will therefore be the moment for the settlement: shareholders will receive 0,26 cents per share for a yield exceeding 3%.
In third place is placed Bpm bank which last Thursday confirmed its leadership. At the same meeting, the shareholders approved the distribution of a coupon of 0,23 euro per share, for a total amount of 348,5 million euro. The amount corresponds to a yield of 5,5%.
Wooden medal for Unicredit with a dividend yield of 5,1% and a dividend per share of €0,9872 per share. The total amount will be 1,91 billion euros and also in this case the payment will be on April 26, two days after the detachment.
The Agnelli galaxy returns to fifth place in the Ftse Mib yield ranking with Cnh Industrial which will guarantee shareholders an annual dividend of 0,36 euros per ordinary share, for a total of approximately 483 million euros (about 511 million dollars). The yield? 2,74%. Warning: for CNH the detachment will be on April 24th, but payment will take place on May 3rd.
Sixth and seventh place, respectively for Prysmian e Ferrari. The first on Monday will detach a coupon (payment 26 April) of 0,6 euro per share, with a yield of 1,58%, the second of 1,81 euro per share (payment 5 May) with a dividend yield of 0,72, XNUMX%.
Close the ranking campari, with a yield of half a percentage point on a coupon of €0,06 per share.

Dividends April 24: the other ex-dividends of the day
The coupons of 8 other companies, listed on the Mid Cap (24) on the Star (11), on Euronext Milan (3) and on Euronext Growth Milan (2) will be added on April 4 to the coupons of the 2 giants of the Ftse Mib. Among these there is also the one that will guarantee the absolute highest yield of the day, superior even to that of Stellantis. Which? Southern Highways. The stock has gained 60% in the past month, more than 100% since the beginning of 2023 and more than 220% in the last year. The greatest acceleration occurred on 23 February 2023, when the BoD resolved to propose to the shareholders' meeting (which then gave the go-ahead) the distribution of a dividend of 3,5 euros per share. This allowed the yield to rocket to 14,89%.
The yield guaranteed by is also high Bff Bank: the total is 8,75%. The company has divided the coupon into two tranches: the balance of 0,419 euros per share will therefore arrive on Monday (yield of 4,64%). They follow esprinet e Covivio, both with yields above 6%.
