It's time to cash out. The dividend season officially begins on 23 April in Piazza Affari 2018. Waiting for the rain of coupons that will be distributed in the second half of May by the big names of the Milan Stock Exchange, the first tranche of profits to be paid to shareholders will start on Monday.

They will be in total twelve listed companies, of which 8 belonging to the Ftse Mib, which will open the dances by detaching their coupon with payment date expected a few days later. The total amount that will be delivered to members on April 23 greatly exceeds i two billion euros out of a total of 12,9 billion euros that will end up in investors' pockets by the end of the spring. In general, thanks to the ride made by Piazza Affari in 2017, to the economic growth and to the increase in profits recorded by the individual companies last year, dividends grew by 3,2% compared to a year ago.

2018 DIVIDENDS: BANKS' COUPONS COMING ON APRIL 23

Going into the merits, it is impossible not to start from Unicredit. For the bank led by Jean Pierre Mustier, 2018 finally marks the return to the dividend after a very intense year characterized by a capital increase of 13 billion euro, the largest so far in Italy. On 23 April, the Piazza Gae Aulenti institute will detach a coupon (the payment date is 25 April) equal to 32 cents per share for a total amount of 713 million euro. The yield is equal to 1,82%, while the payout corresponds to 20% of the profits.

Remaining in the banking sector, they will also be there to detach the coupon on Monday Finecobank (payment April 25), which will distribute a dividend of 0,285 euros per share – up on the 0,28 euros of last year – for a total of 173 million euros, and Banca Mediolanum that after the down payment paid last year will pay the balance. Overall, the bank distributes 148 million euros to its shareholders, corresponding to 2 cents per share. Closes the “banks section”, Bank Ifis, with a coupon of 1 euro per share for a total of 53 million.

DIVIDENDS 2018: THE BIG OF THE FTSE MIB

Among the giants of the Ftse Mib that will detach the coupon on April 23, it stands out Cnh Industrial which fixed a dividend of 0,14 euro per share (to be paid on 2 May) from 0,11 euro in 2017, for a total of approximately 191 million euro. Instead, there will be the lion's share Luxottica, with 490 million in total profits to be distributed, corresponding to 1,01 euro for each single share purchased by investors. Payment date: April 25th.

Returning to the Agnelli galaxy, Ferrari this year it decided on a double-digit increase on the 2018 dividend (+11,8% to be precise) by allocating 0,71 euros per share to shareholders (from 0,635) for a total of 134 million. Payment date: May 2nd.

In the main basket, Monday Recordati will detach a coupon of 85 cents (with a down payment of 0,42 euro paid four months ago) for a total of almost 90 million euro, while the shareholders of Prysmian 43 cents per share will go for 98 million euros of profits. Both will pay on April 25th.

DIVIDENDS 2018: THE OTHER COMPANIES WHICH PAY THE COUPON ON 23 APRIL

Among the other companies that inaugurate the dividend season by taking off on April 23 there is also Southern Highways with 1 euro per share and 4,3 million profits to be paid. 1 euro per share also for De'Longhi, out of 149 million overall, while closing the list is there Piaggio with 0,055 cents per share and 19,7 million total.
